Simon has played guitar for 20 years and has worked with session players from some of the biggest names in rock and blues. He has a music performance degree, is DBS registered to teach children, a Gold member of ‘My Guitar Lessons’ franchise, a Musicians Union member (sitting on their teaching committee), an RGT member and has public liability insurance.
He will teach complete beginners starting from the basics through to advance guitarists that wish to add to their playing skills. He plays in a Jimi Hendrix tribute band and is influenced by rock and blues styles in particularly Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen. He has had the pleasure to jam with such legends as Prince, Ben Poole, Albert Lee, Andy James, Wilco Johnson and Paul Gilbert.
