Offering a used Yamaha CVP-98 Clavinova digital piano synthesiser keyboard to a suitable family or individual who would like to tinker with different orchestral and band sounds. It was purchased directly from Yamaha Singapore for ~$6000 in 1997/8 (the highest end Yamaha Clavinova model then).
Main features:

Keys:
Most keys are still producing sounds, but many keys (~60%) are uneven and/or don’t bounce up properly. Hence, it is more suitable for experimenting with pop/ rock/ worship music, with in-built accompaniment drum beats, where you play open chords. No longer suitable for practising classical pieces due to uneven action of the keys. A workaround would be to obtain a MIDI controller with a MIDI out port, and attach that “dummy keyboard” to the digital piano via a MIDI cable to play. Speakers:
There is a buzzing noise from the front speakers only at startup. The workaround is to turn it on (“warm it up”) for about 10 minutes with the volume OFF. Turn the power off and on again and the buzzing noise disappears, and you can play as per normal.
Self-Collection:
The instrument is a beautiful solid furniture piece ~60kg. You can dismantle the legs and bottom speakers and transport it in your van/ multipurpose vehicle, or call your own moving service (probably ~$80).
