As title says, selling a used Taylor 214ce. In pretty bad cosmetic condition: scratched finish, chipped head, and some ugly chafing on the underside.
But sounds like what you'd expect a 2-series to sound like. Upgraded with an LR Baggs Anthem, which is an undersaddle pickup paired with a microphone mounted internally. Not the same quality as an external condenser microphone, but better than most built-in pickups and certainly better than Taylor's default ES2.
Looking for no less than $1100. No hurry to sell. Retails at $1400+ and the Anthem was $450.
Selling as I have a Taylor 9-series that honestly sounds much fuller and more satisfying than this. Barely touch the 2-series now.
