Up for sale is a Suhr Classic Pro in Fiesta Red. This is a great guitar and I wish I could hold on to it. Thinning the herd a little because I’ve had a nasty hand fracture and haven’t played guitar in months, and will take awhile to get back into it.
Buttery smooth satin finish maple neck with the famed comfortable Even C Medium profile, paired with a nice Indian rosewood fretboard with 9” - 12” compound radius. Topped off with 22 stainless steel medium frets. I absolutely love SS frets and won’t buy a guitar that doesn’t have them. Smooth.
Electronics wise, the guitar is equipped with V60LP pickups which are at the sweet spot for me. Not as bright as the V60s but with all the full bodied tones it is intended to achieve. Nails Andy Timmons neck tone and gets in the ballark of JM Continuum tones. If you like your single coils warm and fat then this is it.
The guitar is also equipped with the revolutionary SSCII system for practically dead silent single coil tones.
Also includes the Suhr Deluxe Gig Bag which offers plenty of protection for the guitar.
All in all this is both a sweet looking and playing guitar. I just have too many rosewood Strats and also broke my hand recently, so this hasn’t been getting much play time and would be better off with another owner.
Things to note: The guitar has some dings on the neck which have been professionally patched up and repaired by Malcolm Tan (MT Lutherie). If it helps they look like birds eye maple dots now. Cosmetically visible, but practically can’t be felt as you play.
There is also a ding on the horn of the guitar.
