This is a brand new James Tyler Tylerbastar with a quarter sawn maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The Purple Shmear Semi-Gloss finish is just stunning - a classic James Tyler look. As with all of Jim's guitars the playability is off the charts. The amazing neck shape and rolled fingerboard edges are truly seductive. The Tyler mini-hum and "Aligator" bridge pickup are a perfect match for this lightweight mamywo body. The sound is beautifully balanced and responsive with good low end and wonderful upper midrange sparkle.
