It is a 4-inch thick panel made out of fibreglass that unlike most types of acoustic foam, absorbs sound down to 200 Hz. Although slightly more expensive than cheap generic foam elsewhere (which only absorbs high frequencies), it is many times more effective and will result in a lower overall cost to treat your room!
Ideal for placing at first-reflection points to prevent phase cancellations that destroy accurate sound from monitors, or to deaden your room for clear recording without too much room echo.
