Rules and Regulations
Form a group/band of minimum 2 or maximum of 8 members
Only 50% of the members need to be SP students.
Band members should be between the age of 16 – 25 years old.
Band members cannot be with any existing contract with a recording label and are not allowed to join.
Gender of band members are up to the discretion of the band
Songs can be original or cover songs
Genre of songs are open
Only English songs are allowed
Registration of $5/- is required
A maximum of 7 bands for Finals will be performing at an event at Café-Del-Mar.
No vulgarities in the lyrics.
Organizers retain the right to disallow any original or cover songs.
Each band is allowed to change a maximum of one member throughout the competition. Band leaders are to inform the organizing committee of the change.
Bands may perform the same song as another band.
Due to time limit, band may not be required to perform a full song.
Each band is given 15 minutes for finals. This includes a maximum of 5 minutes set up time. Each band leaders are to ensure band members adhere to this time limit.
Organizing committee is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal instruments during the whole competition.
Judges decision is final. No further correspondence will be entertained.
By participating, members accept to the Terms and Condition of this competition.
