Looking for a place to show of your musical talent? Come on down to Molly Malones @ Boat quay on Saturday 17th August for an open acoustic jam hosted by Good Question! If you are a vocalist, and /or play the guitar,keys, harmonica, cajon, or even a maracca come down this Saturday ( the first of many) .

Jammers get free beer ( limited- so try and get there early).

Time : 9pm

Location: Molly Malones Irish Pub @ Circular Road , Boat Quay. ( next to McDonald's/TCC)

Make sure to bring your gear .

Do bands need to sign up with anyone for it? Or do we just show up?

Ideally, let us know if you're planning on coming, and a little about your band (members, style of music, etc) so we can plan out the flow of the night in advance. Its totally cool if you just drop by, too. We've had some really cool musicians from SOFT the last 2 Saturdays.

For now, it's weekly with a few exceptions , like this past Saturday, when the manager's band performed. There's a host duo (well, two of them) that alternates weekly. I'm in the other host band, but everybody turns up for the jam whether or not they are hosting.

It's acoustic, so so there's a bit of an "open mic" feel, but it's more of a jam that a conventional open mic . So bring your stuff and your group —there's no better way to introduce yourself —but don't be surprised if you find yourself sharing the stage after that introduction!
