Hi there, my band is in need of a dedicated Rock drummer. We have been searching for 4 months now and have gone through 4 drummers already. Unfortunately none of them have been able to commit. We play Classic and Alternative Rock, mainly covers but are in the midst of writing originals. We tend to lean towards heavier music (not Metal) but do occasionally play acoustic renditions.
Music interests: Led Zeppelin, Cream, AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival etc. (Classic Rock)
Incubus, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden etc. (Grunge, Alternative and Industrial)
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Level 42, Dream Theatre etc. (Funk and Progressive Rock)
The band is made up of of me (vocalist), a guitarist and bassist. We are in our 20s but are open to playing with anyone with high energy drumming. The main issue here is just commitment, we want to play at least once a week. We have regular invites from music organisers to play at bars and the occasional paid gig (it's not a lot, don't expect too much).
