iPad controller for daw

Hi all. Anyone here uses iPad for a control surface for daw?

Ive seen online there are some apps such as v control pro. Looks good.

Just wondering if anyone has other apps to recommend. :)

v control prolly one of the few that caters to different daws.

I had funtime using touchable for ableton, touchOSC and lemur for ipad. For touchOSC and lemur, if the daws/vst/vsti you're using can support OSC, can use the free editor to customise own controller template as well

whats the daw you be looking to control with?

I'm using logic and I'm looking for smth that integrates into it. haha.
Vcontrol looks expensive for an app thou.

I've got an iPad lying around in the house thought might be useful. haha

indeed the price is a bit steep for it, imho.

I guess a big part of using ipad as a controller, also have to see how it aid the work flow of individual using the daw, thus having the money worth spending on the app.

There are others but v control is by far the most integrated app I've seen.

lots of tweaks you can do with it.

Its only lacking a jog wheel. haha

hmm..
If there are other pls recommend !

I agree. Maybe that's why its cheap. Ac7 s just purely a mixing surface. Literally. Vcontrol has more to offer on this case but more ex. Haha. Probably a reason more why ppl jb their ios device.

V-control without a doubt - i use it every day in the studio with a cubase rig. the virtual window feature alone is worth the money, which really isn't much if you consider how much a physical control surface would cost.
