hello everyone.
i'm here again to advertise my services and hopefully this could materialize into something instead of always being stuck in the throes of other band mates who cannot make up their mind on whether to do something about the band or not. So now down to business.
Alternative, punk-ish, not-whiny, heavy-yet-not-brainless, simple-but-clever, kinda music. apologies if it's hard to imagine but i have links to illustrate the sound i'm hoping to play or play for.

or the Foo Fighters! or The Killers! or maybe something more challenging like Protest the Hero or the Dillinger Escape Plan. or Sum 41. hopefully you guys are adventurous in what you listen too.
yea these are ideal. BUT! if these do not suit your fancy and you still require a drummer! I do not mind giving it a try! Though i'm eliminating Indie (foster the people, kasabian), hard rock (Guns n Roses, Deep Purple, Skid Row) and metal of the more modern era (bring me the horizon, august burns red). Now before you think of anything, I don't hate them, but they're just not my cup of tea and i'm pretty sure there's someone out there that would flatter these bands instead of massacring them like me. Oh i'm open to electronic music too.
Influences! Pretty much all over the place. If you're lazy to read they would be Alternative, Pop Punk, Mainstream radio stuff, Metal, Black metal, Death metal, blackened death metal. Post rock, hip hop, and kpop at times. Now if you're into specifics! Some bands would be - Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Muse, Bodyslam, Maroon 5, Saosin, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Trivium, Immortal, Arsis, Behemoth, Emperor, Dissection, At The Gates, Anaal Nathrakh, deafheaven, Protest the hero, Dillinger Escape Plan, Coheed and Cambria, Epik High. So i guess that says i'm more of the hard hitting, insert-double-pedal-surprise, straight forward kinda player. But experimenting would be great.
