Thieves is looking for Female Keyboardist with backing vocals for gigs and recording our first album with original material. Any age or race, what matters is quality in singing and playing and a belief in our material (demo versions can be shared), being comfortable on stage and being available at least once a week for rehearsals and some weekends for recording our first album. The recordings will be in a professional studio and will be mixed and mastered in the UK by professionals.
The band consists of a drummer, bassist, male vocals / guitar and female vocals and guitar, mix of races and ages, all professional or semi professional musicians who can really play and sing.
Our style is indie / post punk / post rock, original songs that have received high praise from audiences and musicians. Someone described our material and sound as Bruce Springsteen meets the Cure, also think of Bon Iver, the american analogue set, low, queens of the stone age, black box recorder etc. The arrangements rely on multi layered vocals and mixing male and female vocals, like fleetwood mac, keyboard sounds will rely heavily on electric and acoustic piano / organ sounds but we are happy to be amazed by what you can add.
