About Bani Rahman:-----
Bani is renowned as a bass player and as a long time stalwart of the local music and club scene in Singapore.
He has sessioned for many well-known local artistes including Tanya Chua, Art Fazil, Brinal Chua, Blindspot, Rosli Mansor, Taufik Batisah, B-Quartet, Stoned Revivals and has played in many club stints including a regular slot at No.5 with local funk band the Flu Biscuits.
He has recorded bass on numerous local albums: Rosli Mansor "Dragged", Blindspot "Sky, Land, Water", Brinal Chua "The Changes"
He has also had a long and fruitful stint at Yamaha over the years.
Career highlights in Yamaha:
Co-ordinator for drum clinics Zildjian world Tour 1999, accompanied Manu Katche (Sting, Peter Gabriel), as a bass player during the clinic performance. Also coordinated clinics for Yamaha Drum Artists Peter Erskine (2002) and Steve Smith (2003)
Judge and Coordinator for Yamaha Band Alert 1998-1999.
Band Manager for Asian Beat 2002-2004.
Bass technician for renowned bassist Billy Sheehan for his clinics in Singapore (1997 and 2004)
Organizing Secretary for Yamaha Rock Guitar competition 2004 in conjunction with Steve Vai concert in Singapore.
Co-produced and session bass player/guitarist for Cartoon Network’s “Jungle Bells” a Christmas promo featuring “the powerpuff girls”, “Johnny Bravo”, “Cow and Chicken” and “Dexter’s Lab”.
