I'm soon leaving my bands behind to Finland and coming to Singapore for the rest of the year. I'm going to study in NTU for an exchange semester. I'll be spending only a short while in Sg but still would be great to get to know some musicians, go jamming and hang around at rock bars. Having gigs just for fun would be cool too.
I've played guitar for 17 years and bass for 5 years in many bands, sometimes more active sometimes less. I've been in bands playing death metal, black metal, progressive rock, irish rock and something more pop-rock also. Currently a rock/metal band in which I'm playing, "The Lidocaine", is in studio recording third album and I hope I can get all the basses on track before leaving. My second active band plays some kind of bluesy rock.

I'd like to know what kind of rock places there are in Singapore and where can I see interesting gigs.
