Hi there,
Our band is on the lookout for a female vox cum keyboardist as our current one is leaving. Genre is mostly top40s stuff to alternative, a bit of old school rock and a couple of Chinese tunes. Influences include Dishwalla, Bon Jovi, Sarah Barellies, Muse, Creed, Stone Temple Pilots, A-mei, Mayday, Beyond etc. Actually we are pretty open to suggestions.
As we already have two male singers, what we really need now is a female vox so sorry guys, you're out. Would be a big plus if you can do or are interested in doing vocal harmony.
Our ages range from 24 to 37. The youngest member is our female rythmn guitarist and the oldest dude is me, the bassist. Current lineup is 2 vox, rythmn guit, bass n drums. Yup, we are also on the hunt for a lead guitarist.
Jamming frequency is usually once a fortnight, unless we have gigs lined up. Usually we jam in the central area like in Soundbox or Shiin Studios on a weekday night.
Requirements
1) good attitude meaning - come on time, practice your parts, play/sing like you're having fun
2) basic keyboard skills, no need to be pro, we are all hobbyists but you should strive to improve as we go along. We do record our jam sessions so you can improve.
3) must at least sing in tune lah.
4) willing to commit to sticking with the band for at least a year.
