Howdy folks,

We're a group of 4 (drummer, 2 guitarists, vocalist) looking for a bassist and keyboardist to complete the lineup.

Here's the list of songs we're working on at the moment (we hope to grow this at the pace of 5 songs a week or fortnight, depending on our respective work schedules)
1. Mr Brightside - The Killers
2. If You Could Only See - Tonic
3. High and Dry - Radiohead
4. Shimmer – Fuel
5. Interstate Love Song – Stone Temple Pilots
6. Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana
7. My Friends – Red Hot Chilli Peppers
8. Space Lord – Monster Magnet
9. 1979 – Smashing Pumpkins
10. Say It Ain’t So - Weezer

We are happy to include songs you really want to play (or drop those that you really hate…) as long as our singer can pull it off. Jamming will be (almost) every Saturday, typically sometime between 10am – 2pm at Studio Fifty Seven in Ubi. Don’t worry about the location, we carpool to get there so you won’t need to figure out how to get to Ubi on your own.

Our expectations are simple:
· You are on time
· You commit your own time to learn the songs. You don’t need to get it perfect, but you must be able to at least wing your way from start to finish, at the bare minimum
· You’re comfortable playing things you don’t necessarily enjoy as long as you’re given more than ample opportunity to do things you really enjoy
· The Saturday time slot works for you.
· For the bassist spot specifically, we would be especially keen to add some Muse songs to the repertoire if that’s your thing.
· Most importantly, if you have grand aspirations or a control freak complex, this isn't the gig for you. We’re a bunch of easy going folks who just want to make music and have some fun (albeit in a compotent fashion and with dedication to our craft). If you leave your ego at the door, we’ll get along fine.

A bit about the band:
Each member brings over 10 years of experience to the table, and we all have extensive gigging experience. We are a mix of local and expat, and are working adults in our late 20s/early 30s. Our primary aim is to jam for the fun of it, however, if we find that after a couple of months things are coming together nicely we certainly wouldn’t rule out gigging once a month or every two months, and already have some ideas about how/where/when. We might be interested in working on originals somewhere down the road, and also already have some things in the works already (happy to send over, just ask).

Please drop me a line at adamqlw@gmail.com if you think this might appeal to you. We’d definitely like to meet up and see if you might be the right person for the spot. Various members also have recordings of their solo stuff or other projects if you wish to see some credentials up front.
