The National Arts Council (NAC) champions the arts in Singapore. By nurturing creative excellence and supporting broad audience engagement, we want to develop a distinctive global city for the arts. With a nod to tradition and an eye to the future, we cultivate accomplished artists and vibrant companies. Our support for the arts is comprehensive – from grants and partnerships to industry facilitation and arts housing.

NAC seeks to strengthen professionalism in the arts, while developing artists and arts groups in various capacities.

This partnership with IPOS is an opportunity to promote greater awareness and a deeper understanding of Intellectual Property (IP), and to inculcate the importance of IP protection in the arts.

In conjunction with the World IP Day celebrations, NAC will be hosting one workshop weekly during the month of April, to share CreaTIPs for all the various forms of art. IP Practitioners will also be on the ground to answer any questions from the audience.
