hi everyone. thank you for reading my post. i just chance upon this forum through google while i was searching for "looking for band members".
i was wondering if there is any way i can get a chance to try out with a band out there? any bands looking for singers?
i have sung in a band before many years back while in university. but other priorities in life mean we have to stop whatever we were doing. but now i am looking for a stepping stone, a springboard, back into singing.
been singing very regularly in fact, but only in karaoke bars and the occasional open mic nights here and there. no trying to brag or anything, but have been receiving rave reviews about my singing. my genres range from bon jovi to john lennon, linkin park to westlife, pearl jam to backstreet boys; quite a wide range. my latest karaoke fave (and i have received much applause for it) is linkin park's cover of rollin in the deep.
so yeah, anyone out there willing to give me a tryout?
