i have many fav drummers.. but 1st one in my mind, at least the kind of player i look up to now of this generation is Gil Sharone.

he subbed for travis when he was recovering from the airplane crash.
he plays all styles... metal, alt, jazz,funk,reggae.. u name it!
i saw him when he had a drum clinic in my school and he's simply too amazing to miss!

=) nope, he came to my school in LA... heehee he's very inspiring... coz he's selftaught! ie never go to music school.. and dont read charts/scores.. but he can memorize songs.. including odd meters stuff... amazing techniques and chops.. so he's my idol
