Took a few lessons from Rick Smith ... he's the white hair guy who plays at Harry's Clarke Quay ... the band's name Chromozone. But he is mostly Jazz though ... he charges 50 an hour.

Anthon Kiong
Damn good guitarist, one of the best local guitarist for rock, blues. He is into Steve Vai. A good teacher but can be a little impatient. Almost Hendrix, Vai, Santana, SRV or Page tune, he can teach you. But can you pick up. Excellent for intermediate & advanced students.

Justin Ho
Another damn good guitarist. Fantastic teacher. Patient and knows how to bring out the best in you.

Dr Axe
Save yr money.

George Hans
ex Swee Lee salesman. Also a very good teacher. Very patient. Excellent finger style teacher. Very nice guy. Can teach all levels.

Bill Laddick
Was playing at the Crazy Elephant & Muddy Murphy's. Big Canadian guy. Very patient, will bring out the best in you. By profession, a music teacher at UWC. He will give you a strong theory and playing foundation from beginner to advanced.

hi strats,

I am CK from Rustynailz and I teach guitar as well. I teach basic to intermediate electric guitar with a syllabus of my own with notes. Things
I teach include guitar/theory/song writing/song arrangement. If u want my rates and syllabus and more details of the lessons, u can send me an email at chilliketchup@hotmail.com or add me on msn.

However, I muz highlight that I am not a "super guitarist" so my lessons is not focus on guitar-god style wizardary but more of an all rounded type. (which includes song writing, arrangement, listening etc). I also don't teach advance level.

Ha funny there is another Kiong that teaches at Holland Village. He teaches beginner, advance, rock, blues and christian stuff. He is very very patient. (when I can't get my stuff right, he will make sure I understand before he ends the lesson, and that is always like at least 1.5hrs) Very professional lesson materials too. Peeps may want to contact him at 94242381.

Happy learning (for me and for you  )

Thanks for the kind words dude. I know who you are.

Hope you are doing well, and perhaps you can get pointers again from me sometime in the near future.
