Default Electric Guitar teacher available

Hi to all aspiring guitar players out there. I'm 19 yrs old and has taught electric guitar for almost 2 yrs. Has played the electric guitar for almost 5 yrs and some performance experience. The start of a new yr is comin and i am taking in new students who are interested in learning to play the electric guitar but knows nuts on how to play it, or has little knowledge on playing the instrument. Students i take in are mostly ppl who knows nothing bout the guitar or beginners in the instrument. There is no nid to be shy in learning and its never too late to start.

Lessons will be conducted at my house( Near Bukit Batok ) every fortnight. It will be 1hr per lesson and each lesson is $30. Materials and notes will be provided. Best to bring ur own electric guitar.
Things taught : Notes / tab reading, proper playing techniques, chords, solos, string bending, pull offs and hammer ons, guitar maintainence, etc etc.
Learn to play thru your favourite songs. No boring old school syllabus and stuff! Be able to to play ur favourit pop tunes with style!

There's a guitar instructor in Pasir Ris area (about 2 bus stops away from Pasir Ris MRT Stn). He can teach both basic and intermediate guitar lessons.

I have been taking lessons from him for about 2 months because I am trying to explore a different genre of music from what I normally play.

As an intermediate learner, these are what I like about his lessons:-

(1) The first lesson starts off with him asking what type of music you would like to play, your guitar playing level, your specific needs etc.

(2) He customises his lessons and chooses practice songs covering a variety of styles in the genre that you want to delve deeper into. (It's definitely not a standard package ie. every student who comes to him is expected to learn the Blues first.)

(3) Then he continually observes your guitar playing and customises his lessons to strengthen the weaknesses and guide your playing to a higher level.

Within 2 months, I already see improvements in the guitar techniques I am weak in. Well... of course, I also practise quite a bit at home after each weekly 1-hour lesson.

His nick on Soft Forum is johnlye. Here's more about his lessons:-

Those who are interested to learn, please go ahead to call or sms him.
