All about "The Girl from Ipanema" - A Jazz Guitar Workshop for Beginners

As last 15th July was the last/8th meeting for "Jazz 101 : Basic Harmony & Chord Progression", I'm opening a new module for guitar jazz workshop on 22 July 2017 :

--------- It's all about "The Girl from Ipanema" ----------

We'll learn & analyse the groove (Bossa Nova), the chords, progression, bass line, the melody (including the pattern), modulation, position on fingerboard), and we'll learn the scales used for improvisation concept as well as the improvisation ideas (this part's when time allows).

This song could be the most famous Bossa Nova's tune has ever been written, it's by the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim. Here's some sample from the recent gig I did :

Upon studying this beautiful song with it's interesting melodic & harmonic structure you'll also gain more depth in musical knowledge & it's applicable for other jazz standards too.

It'd be the 3rd workshop after "Basic Bossa Nova" and "Basic Jazz Harmony & Chord Progression". Here're some samples from the last workshops :

The module's designed for guitarist who wants to know more about jazz
