Hi everyone
For sale is this lovely Fender Stratocaster, from the Land of the Rising Sun. This was made at the famed Fuji-gen plant, dating back to 1993-94.
It features a gorgeous wine red body and a (very!) visible wood grain that just won't quit. Pickups are well balanced and clear, with a range from bell-like Fendery highs to gritty mids from the middle pickup. Even the bridge pup is free of the raspy harshness that plagues many Strats. The neck is straight and true, and intonation is bang on accurate. The fingerboard also sports a professionally done light-moderate scallop, so natural that it's not something that you even feel after a bit of playtime. Great shape for a guitar of an early-mid 90s vintage. Comes with a generic gigbag. See the pictures below to better appreciate.
As some of you know, Fender Japan is now no more. So this is a great chance to score a quality Fender Fuji-gen Strat from a great period of Japanese guitar-making.
