I was thinking of buying a guitar from andertons.co.uk, which that piece couldn't get locally. But the question is what are the procedures do i have to go through to import a guitar from overseas to singapore? As to my understading, VAT above S$400 is tax & duty payable. But what ive read in the singapore customs website that for such online purchase, I have to apply for the in-payment permit etc to complete the process? Not too sure about that but can someone enlighten me on this?
