Faulty Yamaha Keyboard

Hi!

I have a 5 yr-old Yamaha NP30 which was working just few weeks ago, but suddenly decided to shut off on me. I am still able to power up the piano but there is no sound via both the speakers and headphone jacks.

Checked with Yamaha technical service centre and was advised to send in for assessment. Have to pay for repair cost plus and spare parts.

Would like some opinion if the repair be worth it or I should just get a replacement? Repair fee is $65 but not sure about the spare parts.

Any kind soul who met same issue before? Greatly appreciate it!

Do you know how to change the Local On/Off ? May want to give it a try.

Bud, the kindest thing I can suggest is send it in to Yamaha. You don't want to mess around and lose the entire thing.

Even if you don't have warranty for it.
