The Era of the Montage

no offence but this is usually the first comment even in gearslutz.. Some one praising ancient stuff when new stuff is launched.. and 30 years down the line there will be another guy praising the montage when whatever new is launched..

its a cycle..embrace it!

I own one ES7 but the LCD screen is dying,
Motif ES and Motif classic have the plugin PLG option
which is not found on later models.

When loading user samples based on original waveforms, the .X3A file extension should be used.
The MONTAGE does not recognize the MOTIF XF’s Performance data.

THats really bad news..but good news for Motif XF users cos they get to keep the performances there.. But unless cash rich i dont see why XF users will jump.. XF is still value for money.. But I think the new 250 Arps and the Motion sequenced sounds will definetly help..

Poor choice they went FM.. it sounds thin.. On the other hand EX series does pack a punch.. no offence.. i owned an ex7 its sounds thick and warm..


But still Kronos has an upper hand because of sampling..
