If you are looking for a chance to perform, we are looking for you!
Here at The Stage @ Jericho's, we are constantly on the look out for bands to perform with us at The Stage @ Jericho's every last Friday of the month (27th March is the upcoming one!), from 7.30pm to 10pm.
The Stage @ Jericho's is a social enterprise with 2 social aims:
1) We hope to provide opportunities for aspiring artistes to perform and to gain exposure to performing in front of a live crowd, for them to network with other music enthusiasts and to build their portfolio.
2) To impact the local community (All our profits will go towards local community service programmes under Uni-Y SMU and YMCA.) They include Y Food of Love, Y Spring Clean and Craft-it. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/uniy.smu for more details!
As such, we will unfortunately be unable to offer performing acts commission, and we encourage every performing act to help us sell 10 tickets priced at $5 each (this is a promotion price for friends of bands!). The money from the ticket sale would go a long way in funding initiatives like Y Food of Love, where our volunteers bake for the elderly and deliver baked goods along with pre-packed groceries to their homes. Hence, we hope that you will be able to spread the word and support the local budding music industry and bring more friends along as there will be other local bands performing.
