Stingray Bass Strings

there are no 'best slap strings' for stingray.

the EBMM Stingray is a passive double coil pick up with exposed polepieces powered by an active on board preamp, developed by leo fender after he left fender guitars.

to get a good slap sound use stainless steel round wounds with round core ..like DR highbeams. these are really bright and the feel of the strings are good.feel defined as the stings are not stiff like steel wires stretched between the nut and bridge.

to get a little more mellow sound use nickel round wound and round core...DR Sunbeams.

there are other brands like rotosound, GHS and dean markley .....d'dadario.

to fit your feel try them out until you find the one that works for you...you should be comfortable and not fight the strings when you play / apply the slap technique.

hope this helps.
