Default Any Rush fans here?
Just checking to see if there are any Rush fans here.

I love their music and I really like their take in musical genres like blues rock, progressive, new wave,synth etc etc..I think these 3 guys (Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart) are talented musicians in their own right.

The most listened Rush song in my mp3 player is Subdivisions ..I also love songs like Tom Sawyer, YYZ, Working Man, etc etc.

I'm sure most of us would like to see them perform here

I LOOOOOOOOVE Xanadu and 2112! I love their long 'suite' songs, with extended solos and all.

Oh yes, Xanadu, my fav song from A Farewell To Kings.The opening riff is memorable.I saw the live video of them playing that song in the 80s and Alex and Geddy look cool with their double necked guitar and bass

i was never a fan of bands that involved heaps of modulation during their songs but Rush is one of the rare bands i listen to. Maybe because Alex lifeson makes modulation with his playing sound so awesome.

I think they sound a lot like Sabbath, and they have really really good riffs and arrangements. One of Canada's finest.

And when came to the 80s, they had a new wave synth influence but overall, its still trademark Rush..:P



Does anybody notice that Neil Peart looks like Tom Hanks ?:P

YYZ FTW!!! whoooo. haha. rush is one of the best bands out there imo. their instrumentals are really really really awesome.

legendary band, aren't they. they influenced some of my favorite modern prog bands so it's hard not to enjoy their music.
