Try Justin Ho from all music. Cool dude and so inspiring that merely looking at him makes u play like a god 8)

Seriously though, he does know how to carry himself in a way that strives to improve your skills. He plays all sort of styles too, from jazz to slayer type metal.

A graduate from Berklee School of Music. 'Nuff said?

Oh yes if you wanna learn from Yamaha, electric guitar courses are carried out at Plaza Singapura only. Be sure you choose to go for individual lessons. Those group ones are really bad cause everyone is whacking power chords on their guitars and you can't really hear yourself at all. I'm speaking from personal experience here.

Usually it's best to go for private guitar lessons. Costs less, you can also learn more.

IMHO you shud just pick up the basics from lessons, and not go all the way with it.

Cos in actual fact lessons really restrict your ability to develop your own style.

Try all schools!

Go to one teacher for a few months. Then switch to another one.
Every teacher will have something unique in their playing that you should learn from...

Hmm... just make sure they are recommended teachers...

Good luck!
