Bluesy sounding chords -help!

Hi, i have been trying to find out a way to play normal chords which sound bluesy(the formation of the chords). Im not looking for chords which are like D7 or Dm7, im looking for a way(fingering of chords and such) to give it a bluesy sound, like normal chords such as C and G. anyone can contribute? :-D

learn extended chords, jimi hendrix chord is a #9 chord. and learn voicings.

hendrix chord is most famously heard on purple haze...it's in the key of E, not sure wat's the name dunno is it E7sus9 or watever...

easy to play and moveable, u can also hear it in many songs...great for ur basic blues 145 progression instead of just a normal chord.
another way to play bar chords...

B--5---(index finger no nid to bar so much)
G--6--(middle finger)
D--7---(ring finger)
A--x(muted wif thumb--
E--5(thumb)--

another common technique mainly used by hendrix/srv leaving the pinkie free to fret the B n G strings, play around see which ever notes sounds nice.

only the tip of the iceberg here for the so called blues notes. but it's someting i always do to not let my 145 sound so boring.

The proper name for the hendrix chord is E7#9. Anyway if you're going bluesy a very basic progression u can use would probably be E7 A7 B7 A7 D7. Typical shuffle blues SRV kind of thing..

Check out 7th chord extensions like say Bb13 to Eb9 to F#9.
Dim7 chords never hurt either.

Hear more of your favorite jazzy-blues guys for more chords. Straight up blues guys usually use just the 7th and 9th chords with a Aug chord for the 5 chord now and then.
