oooh i wld like to add tht latin is not swung. it's straight but played in a loose fashion.
and 3/4 is not the same as 6/8
the notes are grouped differently

do u guys want to see the shuffle explained next week?

Ah yes, Tumbao! Thats the name that I've been cracking my brains for..

However, is the tumbao refering to the 2 bass beats used in the songo pattern ? Or the 3 bass beats ?

woah, seems like blurred is very eager to host another meet up the next week. :mrgreen:

Haha yeah! I was like thinking "latin is swung...? o.0".

I think the shuffle being explained is confirmed if our next theme is jazz! XD
