Default Help! Garageband!

Hmm, any mac users around? I've a minor problem that i can't figure out.

I "direct-in" my guitar and a sansamp gt-2 into my Imac and there's no sound. Ok here's the problem, i opened up my system preferences and changed the settings for the "sound" section. Basically, there's signals showing that there's sound but somehow, i cant HEAR anything.

I opened Garageband and tried recording, there were signals, but i can't hear myself when i record. After i stopped recording, i played what i recorded and can hear what i recorded.

So basically, the problem is, i can't hear myself when i play even though there are signals.

Help needed! thanks alot

Brian,

Did you turn the track monitor on?

Select the guitar track, bring up the track info using Alt-I, change the monitor dropdown setting to on.
