Hi, newbie seeking Advice on First guitar

Hi guys, i've been lurking in the forums b4 i finally decided to register and post...

Anyway, i'm looking to get myself a electric guitar..borrowed a friend's classical guitar to play for awhile but didnt quite like it, probably because i prefer electric since i enjoy music of the genre, mainly Jpop/Jrock with a slice of Cpop and C-rock. But i have the passion and interest for guitars.

I searched ard and manage to find the package from citymusic which is within my budget of abt $300 to $400...the ST30/110/130 series. Any comments for those guitar, good? bad? rather me go get a badminton racket instead?..

PS: I read ard abt the Ibanez RG321 series being a good guitar for beginners. went looking ard bras basah to see it, but didnt find it (maybe i didnt look hard enough) Anyone know the est. pricing for it and where i can see it?

its subjective..
its best you try different guitars out. and see which ones your comforatable with.
the tone, the playability.

whats gold to us may be junk to you.
so its really a subjective matter.
