Your next best option may be to get it from Amazon.com via Vpost or something along those lines. I think for ART products there is currently no dealer in SG. You may want to check with places like Hung Bros at Sim Lim, they might know who else has stock for ART products.

Alternatively, you could try a Studio Projects VTB1 preamp. I bought it from the local dealer at about $120 if i recall correctly. plenty of reviews all over the net. cheers

I got an ART reverb/effects unit from Swee Lee - almost 18 years ago (when it was still in Plaza Singapura!). Don't think they bring them in anymore...

Say about $800 or less. No need the boutique type or expensive ones. Looking for something cheap & good

Default For the budget....

i think for really2 quality tube pre amps...nothing spectacular u can get under 1k per channel. maybe you should try buying good solid state pre amps...with neutral sound that doesnt colour too much...also a low noise floor is vital.maybe u can look at m audio dmp3 or octane series.. kinda good... the dmp3 has a whopping 66db of gain. not bad for a cheap solid state low noise pre amp. then you can use a tube mic to add a little warmth.

You wouldnt sound like an ssl but with proper techniques.. ull be up there with the competition

regards

at 800 or less the FMR Audio RNP is a good bet.. another thumbs up for the m-audio DMP3, served me well and i still use it even after getting an API..
