Mixer to effect

Lets say I have a rack processor and I want to connect 2 or more guitars into it thru a mixer. Is it possible or will the sound be all meshed up?

guitars ->mixer-> processor

Possible?

Which mixer and rack effect are you using? Brand/model?

Cos mixer has AUX for individual channel and some effects has 2 separate channels.

A Behringer V-amp Pro and UB502. The mixer is currently placed after the rack coz I can mix it with condenser or drum machine. Wondering if it can be done or the 2 signals from the guitars are too much for the rack to handle.
