recommendation on headphones?

Hi guys,
I think i need a new headphone cus my HD457 is dying on me.
haha was wondering if there are gd headphones for monitoring (maybe) most important is it must be comfortable and durable.
Budget maybe around 100+ and below?

any recommendations?

The audio-technica ATH-M40fs flat response headphones should be great for monitoring purpose. About +- $150

I have been using HD 515, they're open headphones and very comfortable. Not flat response but it's alright if you've used it for a while and know the frequency response.

Sony MRD-7506 is my only choice. It's also the most commonly used headphone in the industry.

i would recommend the AKG K 240 Studio. The new version is called AKG K 240 MK II but much more expensive for the same performance. U can get it at Ebay. Hope this helps. :P
