Default Alesis 12USB Or Behringer XENYX 1222FX

Hello pplez!
I'm new here... I'll be getting my first mixer soon, i have been deciding between these 2, the alesis 12USB or the behringer XEYNX 1222fx. I chose these 2 models as i may need the USB function for computer recording. I know it doesnt support multitrack. only sends L+R to the computer.

My question is: shld i get the behringer? or the alesis? i heard behringer has quality issues like each channel sounding different, faders wear off too quickly, adaptor prob etc. Price: cheaper($3xx)

Alesis has more quality, but less functions (no on board 7 band EQ), 4 XLR inputs vs 6 on the behringer. Price ($530)

so which shld i get? Thanks for the help in advance!

Does the xenyx employ the Behringer "ULTRA low noise" IMP mic pre?
If it does then you gotta avoid it like a plague.
Cos after I bought and tried one, I finally
understand behringer's marketing
"low noise" is does not mean
"No noise"
