Default Using KRK RP5 for simple jamming, integrating firepod & UX2/UX1

Hi there, am actually planning to connect a bass, guitar, keyboard and a mic for vocals to the presonus firepod and KRK RP5 for jaming with a couple of friends at home occasionally. Have anyone tried the above set-up and any comments about the quality of the sound produced?

I am more of a pianist and vocalist, just started on the guitar so will probably not invest in a guitar/bass amp. anytime soon... perhaps...

I heard that toneport UX2/UX1 provides great guitar/bass amp models. However, I believe that the amp models are the only things are will probably be useful for me, as i hope to use the firepod as my audiointerface since it certainly performs much better as compared to the UX2/UX1.

Is it possible to integrate and produce this kinda setup? (connecting my base guitar/electric guitar to the inputs of presonus firepod, yet be able to use the amp models during playing and recording) and how can this be done?

My apologies if this question sounds noob. :S i am really pretty clueless.
