Rack Rails

Anyone knows where I can get the above items? Am looking to build my own rack with Ikea products but I don't know where I can find rack rails.

Ranking sports and music at Bras Baseh might have them.

You using the Ikea Rast? 19" wide and 6u high. It's almost as if the guy who designed it secretely wanted to use it in his studio.

yeah man. the RAST seems the nicest looking. thanks dude. will check out ranking. some have recommended the CORRAS as well but i think the RAST looks nicer. heh. alternatively, may have to buy from Amazon the penn-elcom 6U Rack rails.

ok folks, after touring Sim Lim Tower, Sim Lim Square, calling Rankin / Citymusic etc and coming up with no results, i finally found a chap who sells the rack rails alone, and will supply it with screws and cut to size for you as well. His name is Adrian from FCI Splash. Number is 6782-2220. located somewhere in Tampines. he quoted me $48 for a pair of 6U rails incl. screws.

for comparison, Amazon.com is selling a pair of 6U rails (Penn-Elcom) for about USD$9. Incl. shipping to your Vpost address, and Vpost charges which i estimate can be up to $20/$25 SGD, it works out to be about the same.

choice is yours. will prob go to Adrian. in case the thing dun fit or what, at least can bring back to him i guess. cheers
