Default Tube preamp sounds weak

hi peeps, ihave a behringer mic 100 preamp, apparently when i plug my microphone in the signal is very weak, even with the level and gain cranked to max could it be a spoilt tube? and if it is ,where can i purchase a new tube? thanks

ok just a quick qn, does ur mic require phantom power? if so, did u check if its on?

What mic are u using? and also the condition of the mic? I had a faulty mic once and I thought it was the preamp giving probs....
