my friend is looking for it too, apparently it's not discontinued its just that the local distributor here refused to bring it in.

the woman on the line when i called city music also has no idea what i was talking about..

i called twice, first time she said they don't carry. Called again, explaining that I saw it on their website, then she just said discontinued.

not very helpful at all.

Hi sprockett, apologies if we are unable to help you out with this product. Apparently we decided to stop bringing in the EMX-1 as it has been in the market for quite a few years and we decided to concentrate more on the newer products.

As for the web, could you let us know where and on which page did you see the EMX-1 on our site? To our best knowledge, we have already taken it off our site since many months ago. Cheers.

To be fair, I give credit to your lady receptionist for her polite service. There were times when I called and needed to elaborate on what I was looking for, but she would always direct me to the right personnel for my queries to be answered. Thumbs up to her for that .
