upgrading Triton LE

hi, i'm about to attempt to upgrade the OS on my Triton LE from 1.0.4 to the current 1.5.something via the smart media card slot

has anyone done such a big upgrade and what are the potential problems? or just follow the instructions and i'll be fine?

i'm really missing the tap tempo =P

I've not done that for Triton, but I've done that for my Yamaha S90. Just follow the instructions VERY CAREFULLY. And make sure you don't have a power failure that shuts down the keyboard in the middle of the upgrade. You'll end up with a dead keyboard.

If you're really afraid, you can bring it back to City Music to ask them do it for you. If they made a mistake and made your Triton dead, they will have to give you another one...

hmm okay thanks! i guess i'll call city music up i think it's safer, rather than destroy it myself lol.
