hi. i just want to know whether the roland fantom-x6 has a inbuilt speaker. if

yes, how good it is. if not, what other alternatives i have to get sound out of it.

is speakers of the computer good enough? or if im particular i'd need a keyboard

amp or amp of any sort. do help, thanks

no inbuilt speaker ..

you can buy a monitor speaker to get the full sonic experience ... if no budget, any speaker will do ...

expensive keboard...do yrself a favour and get decent monitors to appreciate the sound. otherwise u prob wont tell the diff btw tt n mebbe a juno d/g

Example of good entry level speakers include ESI nEar 05, Yamaha MS202, and the M-audio speakers. Keyboard amps are for live/stage use. If you are using at home, amp will not be helpful for keyboards since:

1. You don't need that kind of volume to blast your neighbours
2. You really need stereo
3. The sound needs to be more defined.

Amps are loud, mono (unless you get 2 - then you'll really bring your house down, literally!) and it's not defined enough for keyboardist use.

So, you need a pair of monitor speakers as suggested by piano-ex and jazzfish. PC speakers are also not defined enough. Anything less than a pair monitor speakers, might as well just use headphones.
