Default Bang for buck echo/delay pedal

Hi guys been playing with a simple set up with just dist and OD pedals. Other than that just using the chorus/reverb from my vox ad30vt.

Wondering what delay pedals do you guys use? i need a relatively economical one with a good metal housing and keeps the tone well.

De-7. Sounds good, works good, and is cheap.

Maybe even a boss dd-3 would do fine.

2.6 secs of delay time on the cheap compared to the max 800ms on a dd3 kills the competition.

Only thing i wished Ibanez would'd do something about the horrible enclosure of their tonelok series....looks crappo and cheap. But i guess thats they whole point and it is CHEAP after all. first hand cheaper than dd3 already.
