Default Yamaha DTXpress 4 Special Set - New improved pads

Hihi I've bought the DTXpress 4 Special set from Yamaha on last friday and it was supposed to be delivered to me tml but the sales guy just called up and said the pads are out of stock and they will ship in the "new improved" drumpads by end of July .. so I can expect it to be delivered in August ... I am kind of worried if the touch and feel of the new drum pads will be different... or worse.... the sales guy told me he don't have any information on the new drum pads yet...I thought that was strange ... would like to find out have any of you heard of these improved drum pads for DTXpress 4 Special set? or any information on this new drum pads? many thanks...

Hello, as an Yamaha e-drummer myself, I have read up abit on the Yamaha drum pads, though low on budget with a DTXplorer now. How about asking him what models are those drum pads. To be honest, I think Yamaha pads should feel the same, since so far I've only seen two designs of the snare/toms and cymbals. =/
