Sadowsky metro isn't quite the same as an NYC Sadowsky. You'll find plenty of those floating around on the TB classifieds at this price or lower.

Metros and NYCs have almost the same build quality and tone, according to the talkbass people. It's just a little heavier, and the metros have less options, and i can't remember the rest, but it's really similar. After all, it is inspected by the masters in NYC before being shipped out.

And another thing, you can't compare a Skyline 5502 and Decade with a Sadowsky. Two different worlds eh? Two very different basses with two very different tones.
