mods for ibanez srx?

can a ibanez srx be modded? as in the bridge and pick ups? any suggestions?

i used to own a srx500

the stock bridge looks quite solid and zhnged already...

it's either the stock pickups or preamp that is extremely hot. you might be able to swap them for MM style pickups. not to sure. but you can ask cherns, he should know

other than bridge and pickups, IMO you owe it to yourself to change the nut to a TUSQ. you can pay a visit to zen to see which one will do. better still, find out when KC will be there. it is such a simple upgrade that you'll be wondering why you didnt do it sooner.

maybe install a hipshot bass xtender? couldn't hurt

quite true that the bass bridge is quite solid already. as for pick ups i dont think the MM one can fit. i think the size isnt same as the mm? anyone knows?

Some Ibanez basses have pup sizes and shapes onli unique to themselves. From wat I noe, Bartolini does make customize pups for ibanez. Maybe u can go check them out on the web.

Sadly, none of the shops in SG I noe of carries barts.

i own a srx500 and i am also looking for ways to get it zhng. i went down to sweelee in bras besar and he searched the web for me to help me look for any mods to be done to the SRX500 and YES! BARTS AND EMG pickups are able to fit into the srx500 pickup hole. but sadly i lost the piece of paper which i wrote down which model of EMG and BART pickups had the right measurements. =/
