You cant really compare the both of them. They are just ... different.

However, if I have to really choose 1, I would pick the Fender, for its tonal versatility and low maintenance. I had a Warwick once, the neck kept warping and the waxing required is a pain in the ass..

some more?

point 1 - fender is more versatile than warwick
point 2 - fender requires less maintainance than warwick or else it warped?

High maintainence warwick requiring you to wax the unfinished wood body once in 2 weeks is just a ridiculous concept to me.

If you don't wax it, the parts of the body that comes in contact with your skin will change color due to absorbing your sweat, etc.... since the wood is unfinished. - and i sweat A LOT everytime i play, and I play pretty often.

I should be the master and the instrument be the slave, not the other way round lol.

with sweaty palms and singapore weather - i'd go for the fender. of course you must admit that the warwick has a really great tone.

it's preferential- if you swear by a Fender, the most supreme Warwick wouldn't be impressive to you. vice versa...
