I have a fender, and it doesn't fail me. To put it in a metaphor, a fender is your trusty and faithful home-maker wife, whereas a warwick is an extra-marital fling. Well at least for me.

i agree with basstze.no doubt a fender bass has that warmth like none other like a fender us swamp ash jazz bass but if u like to punch pple in the face with ur bass sound then warwick is ur best weapon.actually both basses cannot be compared cos they are both designed differently to make a unique tone by themselves.so in the end it boils down to each his own.
